Gardens Open

We spent some time visiting gardens in Hethersett today - unfortunately it was rather rainy early on.

The garden above was one that I liked a lot - they even had a Gunnera, albeit still quite young, and therefore small - towards the bottom left on this photo.  They also had bananas, seen in this picture, which required considerable effort to protect from the frosts each winter.

We particularly liked some of their ornamental grasses - and there were more grasses in other gardens - definitely something we want to add to our garden.
