Priorities

We are back home booooooooooo! after a fab day in Edinburgh.

First thing I did when we got back was have a shower and wash my hair...it was minging!
First thing Mr A did was wash the bike. Priorities eh?!

Edinburgh was quite warm today and we were really impressed to find a motorbike parking bay on the Royal Mile, with free parking too.

We booked a place on 'The real Mary Kings close' tour; the earliest they had was 2.15pm so it gave us time for lunch and a wander.

The tour was really good, apart from not being able to take photos (due to it being a government building), but our tour guide Jonet posed quite happily at the end for me, which is my blip for today.

She was excellent as a guide; really informative with a sense of humour too.
It was amazing to walk into what used to be houses and down the narrow lanes and see how they used to live. Man, we have it cushy these days!

The ride home was horrid; we both feel like we've been trampled on, every muscle aches.

It's not surprising really, Mr A just worked out we have covered 850 miles and spent a good 20 hours in the saddle, so no wonder the bones of my arse are hurting.

But what a fantastic time we've had. It would have been warmer comfier easier to go in the car, but not half as exciting as being on the bike.

Where to next?????
