Ramshackle

The back of Berwick Community Centre. Once a school, now used by Northumberland Adult Learning Service, the building - like several others in the town - has sadly been neglected over the years by Northumberland County Council. At present it's up for sale.

Its future is uncertain as yet, and it will be interesting to see whether a youth project gets the funding and support required for its proposal to refurbish the building and use it to benefit young people and the wider community. Or whether some developer or other will acquire it, knock it down and build flats...
