Time For Tea

This afternoon I went out for afternoon tea with 2 friends.  We visited a place I'd never been to before - Whittington's Tea Barge along the Thames in Reading.  It was a delightful place and all the food was very delicious!  Sandwiches (Salmon & Cream cheese, and Brie, Beetroot & Cranberry), Scones with Clotted cream and jam, and a plateful of cakes to share (Red Velvet, Lemon Drizzle and Coffee cake).  

A very pleasant way to spend the afternoon!
