Cultivated Poppies

These lovely mauve cultivated poppies lie at the top of our drive in the border owned by one of neighbours. They were kind enough to give us some of the seed heads last year to plant in our own garden and fortunately they have taken and produced flowers but not in such marvellous profusion as theirs. However, the poppies self-propogate so who knows what the future will hold.
