Mono-Monday: "Winter" - Melting Snowman!

I puzzled over how to blip "winter" in midsummer. Happily my Editor came to the rescue. I'd forgotten (but she remembered) that last Christmas one of the silly stocking-fillers I gave her was a kit to make a melting snowman. It contained a pack of special white putty along with a hat, eyes, carrot-nose, scarf and "twigs". The putty is mouldable but sags with time. She was busy around Christmas and it never got used.

So we got out the kit and moulded our snowman. It's photographed here on cotton wool, with sprigs of winter jasmine as a background. We had to work fast, as in summer temperatures the putty sags rather quickly! However this allowed us to document its demise as you can see.

Best viewed large against a black background.

Many thanks to irunlykagirl for hosting Mono-Monday this month and for coming up with a challenging challenge!!
