"SHADDAP!"

We have had an interesting few days.  However an ever present noise in our garden has been this blackbird and its mate.  They have a nest in our garden and they are constantly scurrying back and forth with food for their fledglings.  They are constantly chattering as they fly in and out with their voices raising to a crescendo when our cat, Fleur, decided to sit and watch them near the nest.

Their demeanour has got more and more frenetic, to the point where the male will dive bomb Fleur when she is in the garden.  All of the time the chattering continues.  Can't wait for the chicks to fledge, if only for the peace and quiet.
