Evening Vista

Eastwards from Bearsden across North Glasgow to the graceful cone-shaped Tinto Hill in South Lanarkshire. It is an outlying hill of the Southern Uplands which sits above the Clyde Valley, about 5 miles west of Biggar. It is the highest point in Central Scotland with a well-worn path to the summit. On a clear day the view from the top takes in the Lake District, the Mountains of Mourne in Northern Ireland, Ailsa Craig and Arran in the Firth of Clyde, and the Arrochar Alps. One of these days I'll maybe get up there!
