Under the Sea

The Little Misses were giddy to wake up in the Purple Hotel and realise that we were only a few minutes away from the train-under-the-sea!!
Well we would have only been a few minutes away but Mummy and Daddy got confused about the junctions, didn't realise junction 11a was Southbound only, sailed past junction 11 and had to go to Junction 10 - ten miles up the motorway - to turn round and come back again. To say I was screeching hysterically would be an understatement!!
But we made it in plenty of time and only had a half hour wait which considering the chaos there's been all week at the Channel was pretty good really!
We had time to eat pains au chocolate and cartwheel and dance around in the car park a bit like loons then we were off. Under the sea. Woohoo!!!!!
We soon zoomed out the other side and straight onto the motorway to Paris. We stopped at services for toilets, tea, coffee and chocolate. My French came flooding back "Un cappuccino s'il vous plait!!!"
"The avec lait"  was less successful. I got two pots of cream to put in my tea. Yuck!!!
We marvelled at the sight of four huge men, two women and a child getting out of a tiny Peugeot next to us and then zoomed back onto the motorway.
Then annoyingly we noticed we needed petrol so we stopped at the next services. Mr K took a slight wrong turn, accidentally got off the motorway incurring an unnecessary toll charge, performed a fairly impressive if slightly terrifying u-turn to go through the toll booth the other way, careered across a few lanes and then somehow came to a halt by a petrol pump!
Eventually we got to Disney. Hooray!!!
We checked into our log cabin (Static caravan) in the woods. Bought some essentials in the shop (Elsa dolls, fridge magnets, milk, pains au chocolate, croissants, Minnie Mouse t-shirts and strawberries) dumped it all off and headed into Disneyland.
I love it!!!!!!
We headed straight for Thunder Mountain. Miss L is tall enough for it now and I must admit I missed the fun of stuffing her shoes with tissues and making her stand up tall like a giraffe!!
It was just brilliant!!! They were bouncing up and down when we got off. Such an adrenaline rush for little girls!
We had an hour in our favourite Pocahontas park - watching the Little Misses play, the paddle steamer drifting by, and the runaway trains rocketing round Thunder Mountain - before two rides on Pirates of the Caribbean (still my favourite and hardly any queues!) a run around Skull Rock and Davy Jones's Locker, and then the most busy and chaotic McDonalds I have ever been to! And here was me thinking it would have quietened down by 9pm! We got food eventually and ate it by the lake feeding what must be the fattest, unhealthiest ducks in all of France!!
Back to the ranch to bed?
Nope I'd promised Miss E a swim so we headed to the pool for a splashabout. It was freezing and I was knackered so it wasn't the longest swim ever but Miss E was happy.
Until she had to get out into the sub zero icy changing rooms (these things are relative!!!) Then there was squawking and wailing. Overtired anyone?!!!
Home to bed.
I think we were all asleep within seconds!
