Cooling Down

I've taken hundreds of photos today! Choosing just one is well nigh impossible!! But I love this one!
If you're in a Disney hotel you get an extra two hours before the general admission. We never manage to take full advantage of it despite our best intentions!! We got in this morning at 9.30am - just half an hour early!
We headed to Discovery Land as we didn't go there yesterday.
Buzz first for some intergalactic shooting, followed by a journey to Endor on Star Tours, followed by Buzz again because we love it!!
After all that exhausting space activity the Little Misses felt they'd earned their bucket of candy floss. I hate the stuff!! Sticky, messy, quarrel causing, hyperactive sugar rush inducing.... And about eight tons of it in the bucket!
While they bickered and argued over it and got it all over them we headed for Pocahontas park for some wifi and relaxation for Mummy and Daddy fun. I sent everyone on ahead and queued up for coffee for me and Mr K. As I was waiting to be served (by the slowest spreader of Nutella on pancakes I have ever seen) I noticed that the queue for Thunder Mountain was only thirty minutes so I called Mr K back from the park and we sneaked in a quick ride!
Then it was to the park for a well earned sit down. Miss L - as can be seen in extras - in fact had a bit of a lie down as it had all got a bit much. Probably the sugar coma kicking in!!!
She soon recovered and had a lovely play followed by a lovely dance in the freezing spray which some genius has set up across the path. Just brilliant watching them spin and dance and squeal!
Miss E had a minor meltdown when we had the audacity to suggest that we go on the Molly Brown steamer round the lake. You'd think we suggested she go and work down the mine! But I loved it and ignored her wet weekend grumpy face! Eventually she perked up again and enjoyed it despite pretending that she wasn't! Then we headed for a run round Skull Rock and the maze and twenty minutes in the pirate park before dinner in The Blue Lagoon. It's our favourite restaurant, inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. The food was delicious as ever, the beer was well earned and the Little Misses' food came on Mickey Mouse shaped plates. What more could you want?!!
We rounded off the day with Pirates of the Caribbean and then headed home to bed. I'm not sure who was asleep sooner, me or the Little Misses!
