Clematis in the Evening

Under the arbor I now see how the recent rain storms ripped that brave clematis who made it to the top first. A problem of being the first born.

I am amazed that this summer temperatures are so very pleasant. We have a few hot and heavy days and then beautiful ones like yesterday and today.
The rains will be arriving tomorrow afternoon...
