Busy busy

Up and out at 7.30 leaving Jon to wait for Henry's bus. Then he left for Cambridge leaving Mollie home alone ( and fast asleep)

At lunchtime I walked to the station and met Daniel who has spent the last week stewarding at Latitude.

We left at 4 and raced to North Walsham to get to the shop that sells crickets, before they closed at 5. We got there with 15 minutes to spare and were home by 5.15.

Mollie has done jobs today to help - washing today, more tomorrow and ironing planned for tomorrow too. How exciting! She then cooked dinned. H wasn't quite as sociable - generally fed up because the rest of his friends are away on a school trip that was apparently arranged before he started there. He doesn't want to go to school tomorrow - but it's just one more day & he'll be back to normal I'm sure.

I picked my first courgette and a handful of French beans. Then watered everything. Did a spell moving more bits into the loft, then finished my evening taking up Mollie's curtains. Managed to get one done, so will finish that tomorrow.

Spoke briefly to Jon. He sounded stressed and tired. Made a list of things we must do this week....it's never ending.
