My Best Efforts - Year 3

The English Country Garden.....................

This pretty little cottage and it's garden is very typical of hundreds of similar ones throughout the UK. It is in a village a few miles from where I live - there is a duck pond, a tiny village green with a carved wooden scuplture. Nothing spectacular, but very pleasant.

Country Gardens is the title of an old folk song - composer unknown - collected by Cecil Sharp and arranged for piano by Percy Grainger in 1918.
