No idea!

I deliberately limited myself to 15 minutes bug bothering in the park this afternoon as I've spent far too many hours sorting and editing shots in the last couple of days.

My Baldrick-like cunning plan worked up to a point - I quickly whittled 38 shots down to eight possible blips - then it all went a little wrong. I've wasted spent nearly three hours trying to work out what kind of fly(?) this is - and I'm still none the wiser! How very frustrating, maybe I should just go back to the foxes at least I know where I am with them. Any helpful advice for out there in the bliposphere would be much appreciated.

I had no such issues identifying the subject of the shot I've just posted from this time last year
