Morzine Fleurie

After a very early start Anthony and I arrived in Morzine in time for a delicious lunch on the terrace at l'Etale.  We then wandered down to the old town and along the river Dranse a little way.  We even paddled to cool our feet.  The flowers on the bridge are so pretty; this has long been one of my favourite views, with Pointe de Nyon behind.

Our accommodation is way better than expected as we were upgraded by Simply Morzine from a twin hotel room to our own apartment within a chalet due to some building work which might have disturbed us.  Chef produced an outstanding dinner too.  Things are looking good :-)
