Meadow Grasshopper

This grasshopper caught my eye as it jumped when I inadvertently threatened to step on it. I'm glad I didn't! It's definitely a grasshopper as they have short antennae and crickets have long ones.

I think it's a Meadow Grasshopper as opposed to a Common one because it's shoulders are almost straight and green not incurved and white.

Today's plans were put aside and Chris & George came round. It was a great weekend overall but I've lots to get done before I go to Switzerland with Hertford District Scouts on Wednesday so I shall be a very busy bee the next two days.
