More Sawing

A lot more clearing out of overhanging branches and cutting up the holly tree trunks that we left standing after cutting the top foliage off a couple of days ago.
Makes nice logs, you can tell the holly logs, they are nice and clean where I've sawn them. The remaining trunks were only 6 feet high after taking the tops off.
We left stumps at knee height to put something on the top to make little seats.

Today we took a lot of the overhanging branches off all the way along the walled side of the garden. They make a dreadful mess when they drop their caterpillar type seeds during the late Spring, and the rain washes a lot of dust off the leaves and that's what's been giving us black patio slabs! Hopefully it will be a lot easier to keep clean now. Thank goodness I have an old Bulmers Cider apple tree pruner to get those tall branches. My father got it originally from my cousins husband who worked at Bulmers, many, many years ago!
