Sweat Bee

It’s a quick blip for today, as our twin 17-year-old granddaughters have arrived for a week of vacation with us.  We try to pack the week full of activities so we will be pretty busy for the next 8 days.  We even have a 3-day road trip planned to a location they have never been to before, so stay tuned.

I shot this sweat bee out in the garden in a bit of a rush, during the harsh midday sun which really gave the green thorax quite a glow. It is quite tiny, ~3/8 to 1/2 inch long (12 mm).

I know….. it’s more of the same…..but the bugs come in quite handy when one is in a rush.
