Kitchen Remodel Day 8

It's been a couple of quiet days on the kitchen front while the plaster has been left to dry.  Yesterday the painter came in the morning but it wasn't dry enough to be painted.  He came back today late afternoon and was able to put a couple of coats on the ceiling and one on the wall.  He lives very near me so it's very convenient for him to drop by on his way home from another job.  He'll be back again tomorrow.

I also had a brief visit from the granite people this morning as they did the template for the worktops.  They said they'd have them ready in 2 days already, but since the builder isn't ready for them, they will delay the fitting for another week.

I've actually been glad of the short break from the main building work as I was extremely busy with all sorts of other things today not related at all to the kitchen.  It will get busy again later this week as the kitchen progresses.
