The Happy Couple

Time to celebrate the engagement, a month ago exactly today, of daughter Grace and John.  We are in Bristol and before heading out for Tapas we had a glass of fizz in the garden.

Here are the happy couple drinking out of crystal sundae glasses that belonged to my mother. (They were a silver wedding present that Grace took a fancy to.)

Grace likes to do things her way and she likes to use them to drink out of.

Lovely to see them for the first time since there announcement.

We are heading to Cornwall tomorrow but our ferry to the Isles of Scilly on Friday has been cancelled because storms are forecast, so for the second time we have had to rearrange the whole holiday this time one day forward so we are now  going on Saturday!
