Into the Light

I needed a change of pace and scene this evening, so instead of the watery home of Friday's dreaming dragonfly, I headed to Fairhaven to chase the sunset light. 

I'll be the first to admit that what I saw with my naked eyes was not exactly what you see here. However, what you see here is what my camera "saw" when I exposed for detail in the bright, colorful sky, rather than in the silhouetted people.

Best of all, there was a cool breeze blowing, and some folks even had light jackets on! Now if we could just have a little of the UK's rain...
