All Saints Church, Greetwell

I'd often noticed this building from the train and also from walks along the riverside (Water Rail Way) Today I decided to take some photos of it whilst out fora walk.

I went to Google to find out a bit more about it , and it's All Saints church - a grade 2 listed building dating back to the 11th century. It was built to serve a Medieval village, now long gone. It is now surrounded by farmland, but has recently been restored. I don't think it holds regular services, but it is active in some capacity.

Work tonight - and every night this week. I can't see my boss coming back, though knowing him he will if at all possible.
