Bridges

Another full day of sightseeing today.
First we took a stroll along the river Tweed in Berwick and that's todays blip. Those three bridges. A really lovely walk in the sunshine.
Then we went to Lindisfarne and visited the castle. Did I mention we bought a Traveller Pass from the National Trust? That's quite useful, when you plan to see a lot of stately homes, castles, abbeys and gardens. Much cheaper than paying for them seperatly and this way you see more than you normally would.
We drove down the Northumberland Coastal Route which is really pretty. We stopped in Craster and walked along the coast to see Dunstanburgh Castle from a distance. Very lovely walk.
Last stop for the day was Alnwick Gardens. Quite nice but not as nice as some others we've seen over the years.
All in all another lovely day and with sunny weather!
