Practising

I got a new compact camera system today  -  the Olympus EM1;  I've not had a compact for years and the idea is to have something smaller for those days when I don't feel in the mood for carrying a lot of weight or bulk. So far so good, but like anything new I hate that for a while I'll be forever checking and looking up how to do things.  I don't intend for a minute to dispense with my DSLRs but this way (I hope) I'll have the best of both worlds;  I could say it's for when I travel but these days that doesn't happen often, except that we have a trip to Italy booked for about three weeks time, so that will make the expense worthwhile  -  at least that's what I told Jack.  lol
