The accidental finding

Infinite sky

Happy holiday makers wend their way home off the beach at Polzeath, Cornwall. It was after 7pm when we hit the beach, and the surfers were out in force, as families with younger children began to traipse away. Sandcastles were everywhere, and a lone blue flipper searching for its mate.

We're staying at blipper Herbsusan's lovely caravan in Polzeath, near the beach. We stayed here last year, and all felt familiar and welcoming on our return. Despite leaving two and a half hours after our proposed departure time, and stopping off in Taunton, we made good time, and only got a little lost towards the end of the journey.

After our stroll on the beach, I went back to do a little home-making, and CleanSteve fetched fish and chips from the shops. Mmmm!

We are having an interrupted internet service at present, but I hope to keep bringing fresh blips every day, and catching up on the seven still missing from my journal.

I am certain to sleep well tonight. No Bomble, for one thing! He is being looked after at home in Stroud by a cat-and-house-sitter.
