Extravaganza!

Met up with Gilsey today and extravaganza it was! Took the long route to Cotehele with a scrumptious ice cream from the village Ice-cream parlour which took us all the way  to the bend in the river! Made her climb the slope through the woods and then the hill to Prospect Tower and then up it - but I was too worried that darling Nibbler would fall through the back of the steps so stayed with her whilst she went to the top! On the way down to the house we found cows under beautifully trimmed trees and mini hay bales! After a long lunch we headed down and along to the Mill and back, again the long route via the Lime kiln!! A restorative drink and then back to the village! 
Arrived in the village in time for crepes by fellow coop member in the village Hall, Nibbler had a can from the shop! We sat on the green and devoured our food almost as quickly as Nibbler devoured hers! The sun was still out and it seemed so was most of the village! Having dropped Nibbler  at home we headed back into the village for the show Extravaganza by  Le Navet Bete. Complete madness! Ridiculous antics involving acrobatics, slapstick, surrealism, fireworks and a member of the audiences phone down the bald headed guys leotard! After this we came out to the sight of the sunset over the river! My view was obscured by some idiot on the walkway! :-) 
She left with Nibbler who had slept comfortably on the kitchen sofa whilst Fat Cat was locked safely in the attic bedroom with food and the litter tray! I went up the allotment to put chickens to bed - seemed ages since I had let them out in the morning! A bat flew in front of me down the hill and an owl flew off down the track as I arrived!
It has been the perfect day, perfect dog, perfect activities, and of course  perfect blipper and now friend, from  whom I have already learnt!  We have already planned future perfect days out!
