South Stack

We cycled to Holyhead and round the Holy Island peninsula including the considerable climb up to South Stack headland.  We then had to descend to sea level on foot down a twisty flight of steps and then ascend to the top of the lighthouse.  By the time we had got back to the top we had used 1,126 steps (or so the guide in the lighthouse told us - I don't want you to think I was obsessive enough to count them.

Weather has been lovely today but this evening it's clouding over and blowing a gale :-(

Message to David Rockarea - yes I know that I should have left a bit more space to the right of the rocks!
