New hall, new bannisters

Fairly easy drive home, bar a 45min delay at the last peage toll before the tunnel. Kids went straight into the garden while we admired the new paintwork in the hall, stairs, landing and of course Minnie's room.

I am now half unpacked (delayed by damp dusting and steam mopping the dust left from decorating), but due to the decorating the house is in upheaval anyhow, so you can't tell!

Chinese takeaway to top off a very chilled holiday. It really was lovely.
