Ladybird

It has been another lovely hot and sunny day, although it did cloud over around lunchtime when a weather front went through, but no rain.

My husband did some work in the garden, trimming shrubs and trees so that he could mow the grass properly, so I helped him to clear up as well as doing some tidying and sorting out in the house. One more of our large boxes was emptied into a cupboard, but then it was promptly filled again with other stuff, which may yet find its way out to one of the containers.

Until a few weeks ago I had seen very few Ladybirds, then there were a lot in one of the upper parts of the garden. Today, again there were so many I could not count them, but they were down by the large pond on some of the grasses and water plants. Better still, most of them were our native Ladybirds rather than the intruder Harlequins; what else would I blip?
