Life with The Pinks

Blip Bear goes to a party

It's been a very busy, and at times slightly stressful day. Stressful because our neurotic dog won't rest or settle at the beach and must play ALL OF THE TIME or bark. She did that a lot too. I know I should probably be more compassionate, or go back to basics with the training, but right now in this moment, I am grumpy and just want a day on the beach with the kids without the furry kid taking over my every thought. Rant over.

Our day started with a birthday party for Debbie's daughter. She is one of Miss Pink's best friends, and the fact that it was the first party since Debbie has gone, it felt even more important. The party was fun, Elsa and Anna came as surprise guests. There were tears, which I think was expected, but there was also lots of laughter and fun. Blip bear came along too, but he can tell you about that later.
This afternoon we went back to the beach hut and the beach. Peppa, as I said was in a funny mood and barked, or chased balls, no just sitting and relaxing for us. She's now exhausted and collapsed on the sofa next to me.
Anyway, over to Blip Bear:

"Hello, Blip Bear and Kiwi here! This morning we went to a party, with lots of small people. Their grown ups wondered why we were there, so Mrs Pink explained all about Blipfoto and us, and they all seemed very interested. There were some special ladies there who came to see the birthday girl. One was a princess and one was a Queen!  I said hello to the princess, but not the Queen as she was an ice queen and I was a little bit in awe of her. Kiwi was too busy playing on the slides and in the ball pools to pose for photos. After the party Mrs Pink took us home, but we didn't go to the beach today as it was very hot. We decided to have a snooze at home and talk to Goldie the fish."
