I went on the specific hunt for a green leafhopper.  If I only have one choice of bug, I can only blip one thing.  

Trouble is, I spotted this bright yellow delight in the grasses right near where I’d found some leafhoppers.  I thought it looked a little angelic with its blue-tinged wings.

So, what is it?  Well, I think it is actually a newly emerged green leafhopper.  The remains of its nymph state are by its back legs.  Still quite dazed and wondering what on earth has just happened to it, it was fairly motionless on the blade of grass, still to develop the hardened brains of its hopping mad older buddies - which I will be blipping soon!
