Roadside invasion

Had to go to Lochgilphead this morning to collect a mower so took my tiny Canon Powershot, but somehow it didn't do what I wanted to do. Admittedly the sky was bright and white which is the photographers' worse nightmare.

Anyway, here's a picture of some illegal immigrants growing by the roadside at the Ford road end, with Carnasserie Castle in the background. Inula magnifica - maybe, but I'd need to check - is a native of the eastern Caucasus so what it's doing here I'm not sure. It may have been planted deliberately, along with the clumps of Lysimachia  punctata not far away!
