York Minster

First thing we did today was visiting the Minster. Wow, huge and very poplar with the tourists. ;) We spent quite a while in there before we went into the Treasurers House next door. Very interesting place. Every room looked different. We even went on a little ghost-tour into the cellar. Not scary but very good.
As we always cram a lot in our days we went to the National Railway Museum. Was a bit of a walk there but also worth it. We only browsed through fairly quickly. I suppose you could spend one whole day there and not see everything.
As it was a lovely day we then proceeded to a nearby park at the river and actually sat down and relaxed for a while. That was rather nice. Felt like a holiday.
Dinner at the Royal Oak pub was a nice end to this lovely day.
