Down in Edison

Seven of us lady painters met in Edison today to visit the Smith Vallee Gallery to see their current exhibit. http://smithandvallee.com/gallery I drove Helen and Sue. Kathleen, Cathy and Donna drove down with Pat. We all had a great time walking around, visiting stores and having a delicious lunch at Tweets. The gallery show was great too. We stayed until mid afternoon and then headed up Chuckanut Drive and soon discovered there was a major bike race going on. We passed literally hundreds of cyclists on the narrow winding road. It was an interesting driving experience. I don't know why they scheduled a race on such a dangerous road. We made it up safely but yikes! We stopped at the Chuckanut Bay Gallery before heading home. The photo is of the side of one of the buildings in Edison.

I see I should have said more about what this is. Those are NW native style images cut out of rusty steel. I believe they are eagles but am not really sure. They are quite large, maybe two to three feet tall.
