Happy Birthday Grandad!

Not much of a blip day today. It was Dawn's dads 65th birthday today, and we were supposed to be having a bar b q, but the Great British Summer got in the way. We've had cold howling northerlies that scuppered any chance of firing the charcoal! So we had an indoor bar b q instead with everything being grilled. Tasted just fine ...

I was zonked most of the afternoon as we went up the local pub to celebrate his Steve's birthday. Three pints of Batemans XB later my sorrow at Wales's agonising 81st minute defeat by Australia was forgotten.

It's been a lovely day with my lovely in laws and their family, it always is a pleasure coming here, and not just for the birds ...
