The Corn Exchange...

Not as ornate or as architecturally distinguished as the Royal Exchange at the other end of New Cathedral Street, I still like the Corn Exchange on Exchange Square. They've been busy converting it into a foodie paradise that will house fifteen new restaurants. They are opening over the autumn.

One, Cosy Club, has opened already so I was able to get inside to see what they have been up to. The central space under the glass domes looked very empty and white. But, as the restaurants open, I'm sure the atmosphere will change and it becomes a new destination in the city.
