From dusk...

A morning of tidying the house and making even more sweet things for this evening's dinner with friends. They arrived hotfoot from a fencing tournament, but after some cooling drinks the evening got off to a fine start.

Here's Mr B's prawn cocktail starter, which was followed by some slightly disappointing steak. We even remembered to feed the kids and put them to bed not too late, and we made at least a good start on the long series of desserts, though we didn't get to all of them. A fun dinner all round.
