Today's the day ........................... to relax

It was really hot today and definitely a day to laze about doing nothing.

And how lucky were we to be staying in a large country house with plenty of space around it - and its own swimming pool.  The air was full of the scent of lavender, rosemary and all the other herbs and flowers that grew abundantly.  The only bit of activity was a gentle stroll up the lane.

That's when we came upon the strange sight below.  Two bee-keepers in full rigouts were removing a swarm of bees that had decided to make their home in someone's water meter box ............................
