The Best Pub in Nuneaton

Our task today was to take Kat to the Hearing Clinic at the George Eliot hospital in Nuneaton. We set off with plenty of time to spare and so arrived one hour early.

Len went into the hospital with Kat so I took Basil for a walk along the hospital's green verges and out on to the main road.

We hadn't gone far when we came upon The Horseshoes pub on the corner where I gratefully ordered a lime juice and soda and Basil and I both sat out in the garden.

A shower of rain eventually put an end to that interlude. As we were leaving, I spotted this sign in the corner of the car park. And it is a thoroughly good pub. Traditional style but spick and span and smelling of polish with very friendly landlords. Basil was welcome too.
