Flower Friday - Rose

I picked this rose from the garden, for my Editor, a few days ago. At the time it hadn't opened. When it did I noticed how pretty the anthers and stamens are. I thought it deserved a macro blip for Flower Friday.

(The rose is pink anyway, but I photographed it behind closed red curtains which enhanced the colour, and used a little extra light from each side using my LED macro lights (see here).
