Peveril of the Peak

An early morning shot on my way to my usual Manchester destination.

This is an early 19th century pub named apparently after a stagecoach which used to run between Manchester and London. It was presumably named after the Walter Scott novel. I love the tilework, and the place is one of the City's real gems.

It's been a busy day and a busy week. To be followed by a busy weekend.
