Swans On The Trent Mersey Canal

A couple of weeks ago we visited the Anderton Boat Lift .A spectacular piece of engineering which takes boats down 50' to the River Weaver or brings them up to the Trent ,Mersey Canal .Today we returned to take the trip down from the canal , along the Weaver then back .(This will have to be a well edted video ) We were greeted by a family of swans . Quite a show was put on for us. Again so many shots . I liked this line up of cygnets  at the boat window . No food , and no coming aboard . What looks we got.The parents swam up and led them away .Where to ?
The boat lift. There they hovered making the pilot of the boat wonder if this would mean a delay. It seems swans are extremely talented at this game .Eventually all swam away.. My extra shows the risk factor when they do loiter around the Boat Lift .However the good news is that the Canal and River Trust are very wild life minded .
