Dahlia

I have had no time to blip for the last couple of weeks.We have been busy with a large order for containers for England and Scotland.I spent all last week delivering around England and trying to keep all our usual orders going as well.Finished on Saturday late afternoon and the last two deliveries were hard work to be topped off by finishing the VAT when I got back.
Luckily John got a few out for me but he has been busy getting the harvest in between showers and then hours of time putting the grain through driers.Straw to wet to bale and worth nothing when it is.Country file showing harvesting with scythes today.Had to turn it off the usual twee crap that it always shows just gets you down watching it.Gardeners World is the same twee crap.It would open their eyes if they knew how peat free compost is made and the amount of chemicals and fertilizer that has to go into it.About time the left wing British Brainwashing Corporation was scrapped or at least given a reality check.Probably still run by hippies.

On a more positive note managed to get tickets to see Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra performing Vaughn Williams and Holst.Should be a good night.
Em now working for the NT and Becky making good progress on PhD as well as working full time.
