Food street

Thuan picked me up on his scooter and we drove over the river to an area of the city I hadn't yet been to. We went to a very long narrow street full of various types of food and bustling with people. We opted for fried chicken with rice which he'd had before and is quite similar to how they do it in Indonesia.

I bought a pot of bánh flan (crème caramel) and the person in front of me got two of them scooped out in to a plastic cup and mixed with ice and coffee. I couldn't resist so I got the same (for 10,000d which is 30p) and it was delicious!
