Ụt Ụt

I had another craving for American BBQ so walked through the market and went back to Quán Ụt Ụt (I've since discovered that "ụt ụt" is the Vietnamese for a pig noise, the equivalent of "oink oink"). There are three large floors which seem to be packed out every night. I heard one of the waiters say that when the restaurant was opened by an American chef, he assumed the customers would consist of 10% Vietnamese and 90% foreigners but in reality it's the opposite, with 90% locals. From what I've seen, this is roughly true.

The barbecue is outside on the large paved area in front of the restaurant, enticing potential customers with the delicious smells.
