I do like a spot of public art, and my need was satisfied by the relatively new mural under the railway bridge at the junction with Abbeyhill at the bottom of Abbeymount (see here for details).

This made up for my disappointment at having missed the CIGS pop up under the railway bridge on Calton Road.

A productive day basically at the day job. An evening then spent looking at the best ways to donate to support effort to relieve the refugee disaster unfolding before our eyes across Europe. Words fail me.

A couple of extras as the flowers in Pilrig park continue to mature and to brighten up my commute.
