A pause in the rain

As we get closer to the equinox, the weather always becomes less stable. Showers, rain squalls, strong winds, cold air. And then bright and warm sunshine without the chilling effect of wind from the south west.

The sunrise was obscured by rain clouds in the east, and heavy rain in front of us. Just over a half hour later I was able to run for more than a half hour with only the last minutes in the next rain squall.

Today is Fathers Day in New Zealand and Australia. A phone call from Tsuken, and lunch with daughters and grandsons. A happy and loving day.

Soon we are heading to friends in Oratia (west of the city) to finish a weekend of busy time with relatives and friends. Very relaxing.
