Mdina, Malta- a world heritage site.

This photo montage features Lorraine our guide in  Malta on a tour of the narrow streets of this world heritage site in Mdina. Its history traces back more than 4000 years. It is sometimes called the silent city because of restrictions on motorised traffic. The top right picture was taken in the Baroque  Cathedral. A horse-and-carriage ride through the narrow streets is a tourist option.
Originally Mdina was the island's capital. Now Malta's capital is the port of La Valletta.
