Meadow Fescue

... at least I think it is. These long flower spikes are growing around the bird feeder pole. We have quite a lot of overgrown edges and patches of grass in our garden at the moment, courtesy of the weather and lack of time! At least Ann managed to cut the main area of grass a few days ago though it will need cutting again in the next few days.

A day of sunshine, blue sky with some cloud. It was really hot at lunch time!

Also a day for doing kitchens - at long last I've finished putting emulsion on kitchen/utility room, while Ann removed layers of building works soot and grime from our main kitchen. It smells like spring!

We had to celebrate with an early afternoon beer.
