... is the name of the region of which Aínsa is the capital, also known as el País Perdido.  I mentioned the region in one of my blips last August. This mountain is a feature of nearly every view, and we'll soon be seeing a lot more of it ... we had an up and down sort of day, but finally managed to negotiate a price for an apartment that pleased us very much, in a village just a few kilometres from Aínsa. This evening we walked up to the Plaza Mayor and celebrated modestly with a glass of wine and one of those simple tapas that work perfectly when the ingredients are good: a single massive tomato cut into rough chunks, dressed with slivers of local mild onion, salt, and olive oil.
